MUSIC REVIEW
Band: Various Artists
Album: "Monster-in-Law Soundtrack"
Label: New Line Records
Often a film's soundtrack is much better than the film and really adds nothing to the film. The Monster-in-Law soundtrack is a prime example.
I admit I didn't see the film but I think I got the gist through previews. The soundtrack has two components: a club feel with songs such as the funky, blues driven "Super Duper Love (Are You Diggin' on Me) by Joss Stone and kicky, beat-laden "L-L-Love" by Astaire and a romantic feel with songs like the infectious "Walking with a Ghost" by Tegan and Sara, exquisite "Just a Ride" by Jem and "Thinking About You," the gorgeously composed song by Ivy.
It's a great CD to shimmy around your apartment to while you are getting ready to go out.
