THE SECRET BEHIND THE OPUS
First there was the international sensation, The Secret. Now comes The Opus - a new film that offers the next steps of the Law of Attraction. A word typically associated with a brilliant musical composition, the "opus" in this case refers to an individual's personal success in life. "Each of us is our own instrument and we create our personal symphony by what we do with our lives," states 34-year old creator and producer, Douglas Vermeeren.
The Opus, which features many of the teachers from The Secret, shares practical action steps for reaching your goals and leaving a legacy. The film offers effective insights from Top Achievers and Teachers on how to turn your intentions into accomplishments. The Opus outlines the formula and patterns Top Achievers use to create greater abundance in Wealth, Health, Relationships and Self Achievement.
Doug, who also directed The Opus, made the film in order to help others take their vision from a plan to a performance. His goal for the film, he states, "is to inspire people to take their lives to the next level, to enable them to accomplish the things they want to do and to be contributors to the world."
An achievement expert and motivational speaker, Doug has penned two books, Accelerated Achievement and Amazing Success, and has interviewed over 400 of the world's top achievers in a quest to discover the method for success. Doug's list of interviewees includes top business leaders, celebrities, financial wizards and ordinary people who have enjoyed successful, fulfilling lives. Most notably, Doug was the first North American to ever address the Chinese political party and educational leaders at the Teacher's Day conference in communist China.
Now he has brought all of his knowledge, and the knowledge of various entrepreneurs and top business leaders to the big screen, in order to share the secrets of success with everyone. et has gathered some of the original cast of The Secret to take The Law of Attraction one-step further, explaining how an individual's plan is placed into action.
Inspiring speaker and co-creator of the successful Chicken Soup for the Soul phenomenon, Jack Canfield, makes an appearance, as well as Dr. John Demartini, creator of the self-help methodology, The Demartini Method, and author of over forty books, including The Riches Within. Metaphysicist Dr. Joe Vitale (The Attractor Factor), best-selling author Marci Shimoff (Happy For No Reason), Morris "The Miracle Man" Goodman and Bob Doyle (Wealth Beyond Reason) round out the original cast of The Secret and are back with more advice.
Also making appearances are Frank McGuire, co-founder of Fed-Ex, Bill Bartmann, "The Billionaire Business Coach", Mark Victor Hansen, co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and LuAn Mitchell, host of Millionaire Mentor on Voice America radio. Doug has even added a former F-18 fighter pilot, Ed Rush, to the cast. As the Marine Corps leading expert on fighter pilot dog fighting, Ed has discovered the method to cross over from military life to the civilian life successfully. Using his own principles, Ed has four businesses with no employees and works about ten days per month in the office.
With a U.S. theatrical premiere set for May 1st in Chicago, and subsequent screenings thereafter, The Opus is highly anticipated worldwide.
