Eric Linterman THE PERFECT HAIR CUT

Belgium, one of Europe's most beautiful countries, is best known for exquisite hand-made chocolates and Antwerp, the European capital of the diamond trade.

Several decades ago, it lost a real "diamond in the rough" when Aurelien Lintermans migrated to New York City to continue his successful hair styling trade. He had already opened hair salons in Paris as well as his home country. He brought with him, his son Eric, who had watched and learned the essence of his father's work.

The family later moved to California, locating in Los Angeles where the newest salon was opened in Beverly Hills. He became a success catering to an elite male and female clientele, which included prominent business professionals as well as many from the entertainment industry.

Everyone wanted to visit Lintermans' Salon and stylists begged to be part of the growing staff. Even José Eber learned from the world famous father. Young Eric, as well, began his career working in his father's original salon.

But, the time came for Eric to leave the always-busy salon to be on his own and soon opened a salon within a block of his father's. To this day, Eric maintains his proven hair styling philosophy and technique that give his long-time clients confidence. The "perfect hair cut" reflects each individual's personality and has been featured in national and local publications suggest Allure, Los Angeles Times and Los Angeles Magazine.

Everyone on the staff at La Coupe Lintermans is well trained and experienced in all aspects of the business. There are, however, those who specialize in color and weaving. Each stylist marvels at Eric's mastery of the "dry cut" which was his father's trademark and known worldwide. Specifically, this method of hair cutting matches the style of "cut" to the shape of the head, as well as the type of hair. Linetermans' customers feel better and look natural - without the need of gels or sprays.

Appointments are suggested but "walk-ins" are always welcomed.
