EMERALD DREAM BALL
New Year's Eve - Las Vegas
The emerald is a gemstone historically known for its healing properties. And, for twelve women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, the emerald will symbolize their strength, vitality and the spirit of survival.
On New Year's Eve, Lana Fuchs, a Las Vegas-based fashion designer, and her "Emerald Dream Team" will present a black tie extravaganza honoring these twelve women.
The Emerald Dream Ball will feature a cocktail reception, a silent auction, a sumptuous dinner and a spectacular hour-long Vegas theatrical production including music, dance, acrobatics and fashion from Lana Fuchs' couture line.
For Lana Fuchs, the inspiration for the Emerald Dream Ball came during a trip to Africa. While on safari with her husband and children, Fuchs became friends with a fellow traveler who was also a breast cancer survivor. Inspired by the woman's story, Fuchs realized that she wanted to help make a difference in the lives of women who were equally brave in the face of the disease. And so the Emerald Dream Ball was born.
