Race To Witch Mountain
Disney's "re-imaging" of its Witch Mountain franchise does exactly what it needs to do for its intended audience. The kids love it!
Jack Brunno (Dwayne Johnson) picks up two human-looking alien teenagers (Annasophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig) in his cab, and must 'race' them to a secret government base known as "Witch Mountain" to retrieve their space ship.
Not to be confused with a breath-taking thrill ride, it is more than enough to keep a 6 year-old glued for 99 minutes.
For parents expecting more special effected scenes like the exploding Cadillac that is used in the trailer, sorry but that is pretty much it.
It's not so much a race, but more a Disney flick with current technology barely carrying what little story there is. But, the kids love it!
