Originally branded under the name Storyview, the new Outline 4D™ includes additional support materials such as a training site, www.LearnOutline4D.com and importing capabilities. New Program Donates $725,000 in Software to the USC School of Cinematic Arts
Write Brothers, Inc. initiated a five-year software donation program to the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, which began with the Fall 2009 semester. The software is for the faculty and students of the Filmic Writing, Production, and Animation programs. Valued at over $725,000, the donation includes software bundles of the company's best-selling screenwriting software Movie Magic®Screenwriter, story development software Dramatica®Pro, project outlining software Outline 4D™, and word reference software Word Menu®.
"Everyone here at SCA is grateful for the ongoing generosity of Write Brothers, Inc.," said Dean Elizabeth M. Daley. The founders of Write Brothers, Inc. are graduates of USC's film school. President Stephen Greenfield ('81) and Vice President Chris Huntley ('80) have a long history of donating software to their alma mater beginning in the 1980s with their first product, the Academy Award winning script-formatting software, Scriptor.
