Ah, the lure of a musical experience... that's what you'll find in the debut album, All Wound Up from keys virtuoso, Shady Grady. Playing keys, organ and piano with a cast of all-star musicians, All Wound Up, grooved it's way into stores recently.

A Philadelphia native turned Californian, Shady's musical world reveals itself as a mix of smooth jazz reinvented with the warmth of live musicianship infused with the rhythms and energy of R&B. He has dared to revisit what music was always meant to be... an experience. More of a Groove Jazz, All Wound Up offers a cool breeze of music and good times to all - most notably the ladies.

Having teamed up with the popular producer, Chaka "The ChakFather" Blackmon, Shady's debut album focuses on the innate dynamics of live musicianship, with such songs as "Let It Ride" featuring Anson Dawkins, "Sunshine" featuring popular soul vocalist Lina, and "Keep Coming Back" featuring Anson and Eric Dawkins.

Yet that's just the beginning, as Michael Paulo sings through his saxophone on "Shake It Down" and Gerry Brown's drums make you want to groove on "Percussive". With Alex Al playing bass on "Bake That Tasty Cake" he leaves you no choice but to bob your head. Still it gets even better, with Russ Miller on drums for the title track "All Wound Up" and "Sunshine." You'll keep grooving with Lenny Castro on percussion and George Shelby on horns as they add something special to almost every song.

At the end of the day and at the end of the album, you'll emerged satisfied and wondering, "Why did it take so long for us to experience Shady Grady's world?"
