Survivor fans will remember Jenna Morasca when she became the winner of Survivor: Amazon. This aspiring model from Pittsburgh suddenly became a millionaire. Since then, her passions for acting and helping people keep this beautiful lady very busy.
You're organizing a project called Model Challenge USA. What is its goal?
MCUSA's goal is to give aspiring models a professional, fun competition to break into the industry. MCUSA wants to give all types of models from runway, print, and editorial a chance to win the competition. We have a wonderful prize package and industry professionals who will be involved to help the girls further their career.
What are you looking for in your contestants?
We are looking for girls who are passionate about being a model and are willing to work hard to get into this industry. Girls who take care of their body, and can be versatile in the industry.
Who is sponsoring Model Challenge USA?
We have many sponsors getting involved and we don't have the final list complied yet, so for now it's a secret!
When and where are the finals?
The finals are in October in Pittsburgh.
What will the winner of the challenge win?
The winner will receive a priceless prize package which includes a modeling contract, a collection of designer swimwear, professional photo shoot, an online portfolio, a shoot to be in the national Sophie's Swimwear catalogue, and more. We will also be awarding contracts and photo shoots to girls other than the winners. Everyone has a chance.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I have never been the person to look at the future that far away. I just like to take it one day at a time. You never know what life will offer you.
Which charities are you currently working with?
I am most happy when I am doing work for the charities I love. I have been working a lot with Ethan Zohn's (winner of Survivor: Africa) charity -- Grassroot Soccer (www.grassrootsoccer.org). It teaches AIDS education to children in Africa using professional soccer players. I took a trip over to Africa with him to teach the kids hands on about AIDS education and it was a priceless experience. One of my other favorite charities is Animal Friends, (www.animal-friends.org). It is a no kill shelter in Pittsburgh. They love animals as much as I do. What they do to help them is wonderful.
Are you a cat or dog person?
I love all animals but I have always been a dog person. My dog Rocky is my baby, my child, and I love him to death.
Are you working on any projects other than Model Challenge USA?
Yes. There are several other projects. I am working on TV and movie deals right now. We will see what happens!
How is your acting career going?
I won't say I am a professional actor but some things have come my way that I will not pass up.
How do you stay in such good shape?
I try to stay away from sugar as much as possible and work out. I am pretty lazy when it comes to working out to be honest so I try to do fun things like taking my dog, Rocky, for a walk.
Do you have any vices?
I am a CHOCOLATE lover! That is my vice and always has been. And, once a week I will let myself splurge and eat some chocolate.
Tell us something about yourself that nobody would expect.
That I love fighting movies like Gladiator!
How do you feel about being voted onto the most wanted bodies list?
I was so honored to be the only reality person on that list. It is great to know all the hard work to take care of your body pays off.
Where is your favorite place that you have traveled to?
To be honest I love a of couple places that are VERY different. I love Disneyworld. I have so much fun there because I am a kid at heart. I also love Africa. It's a beautiful place. And, I can't forget the Amazon where I won Survivor. It's close to my heart as well.
