Combined with the ground-breaking efficiency of Adobe Dynamic Link and Adobe Bridge, this highly efficient workflow will allow you to deliver your best work.

Adobe Photoshop integration
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 offers the tightest possible workflow integration with Adobe Photoshop, maximizing the efficiency with which still images can be incorporated into video production. Now you can instantly edit Adobe Premiere Pro stills in Photoshop, and then automatically match the frame size and aspect ratio of an Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 project-even in HD-when creating new files.

Adobe Dynamic Link with Adobe After Effects (Adobe Production Studio only)
In the past, it was tedious to update content t0 address client feedback, and then make other changes when incorporating visual effects into a video edit. Changes made in After Effects would have to be carefully managed in your editing timeline, and then re-rendered and re-imported. The result was an inefficient and time-consuming workflow. Adobe Production Studio offers a compelling alternative: the ability to create live links between projects in After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. Dynamic Link eliminates the need to render an After Effects composition before importing it into your Adobe Premiere Pro timeline. All After Effects layers remain accessible. Changes made in After Effects can be previewed instantly, without the need to render a movie first. This allows you to make changes quickly and render only when you finalize your results.

Adobe After Effects integration
After Effects projects can now be exported as Adobe Premiere Pro projects, maintaining folders as bins, individual edits, markers, keyframed effects, nested sequences, transitions, and more. Effects can be applied in one application and rendered in another. For example, you can make adjustments in Adobe Premiere Pro using the Three-Way Color Corrector, and then render that effect at higher color depth in After Effects. You can also initiate the process of capturing footage in Adobe Premiere Pro within After Effects (in Adobe Production Studio only).

Tighter integration with Adobe Audition
For more flexibility when editing audio in your production, you can select any audio clip-regardless of its source-and send it to Adobe Audition 2.0 for editing, using the Edit in Adobe Audition command.

Adobe Bridge
Adobe Bridge brings the files in your project into one central command center, making it faster and easier to access and manage video and audio files, native Photoshop and Illustrator files, and After Effects projects. Efficiently organize, browse, preview, and locate your content files. Drag the files you want directly from Adobe Bridge into your current project. Within Adobe Bridge, you can also run batch processes and handle a wide range of common tasks, such as creating new folders, renaming, moving, or deleting files.

Adobe Production Studio
Organize, find, and view your files using Adobe Bridge. Take advantage of comprehensive Adobe XMP metadata support to manage all your assets. Preview video, audio, and image files directly in Adobe Bridge, and then drag them into Adobe Premiere Pro.

Adobe Bridge minimizes disruption to your creative flow because it makes it easy to find exactly what you want. Using industry-standard Adobe XMP metadata, you can make complex searches based on very specific criteria. You can add metadata to your files and view that information in Adobe Bridge without opening the file. Metadata can include everything from digital image capture information to copyright status and key-words. Easily edit metadata for any content file, or multiple files at once. For sets of metadata values you use often, you can create and save metadata templates, and then quickly apply them to content files.

To make more on-screen space available, you can toggle Adobe Bridge to compact mode, reducing it to a floating palette for easy access at any time. Adobe Bridge gives you numerous options for viewing your assets-including Thumbnails, Filmstrip, and Details. You can also resize previews with a simple slider control. With Adobe Bridge, the files you need are always at your fingertips.

Redesigned user interface with panels that dock and group
Work with a redesigned user interface that's fully customizable. Tools, palettes, and menus are familiar and consistent with those in other Adobe video applications, and keyboard shortcuts remain fully customizable. Arrange everything you need using workspace panels that dock and group within the main application window, saving valuable screen space and eliminating the need to constantly reposition and resize multiple windows and palettes one by one. Grouping allows you to collect panels together in a single frame, and then switch quickly among them by clicking the desired panel tab. You can also float a frame containing one or more panels separately from the main application, a feature that can be particularly handy when working with more than one monitor.

Multi-cam editing
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 opens access to a whole new level of professional production by supporting the editing of multiple-camera shoots. The new quad-view monitor provides simultaneous display of up to four synchronized source tracks, plus a real-time preview of the switched output. Drop into Record mode and you'll be able to switch between source tracks in real time to create a sequence containing the edited foot-age from each of the cameras. Making adjustments is easy. Simply record the desired changes and Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 updates your edited sequence automatically. The clips can then be edited as usual with any effects, titles, and other tools available in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0.

Adobe Production Studio
Synchronizing clips for multi-camera editing is easy. Use clip start, clip end, timecode, or markers to precisely align your content.

Adobe Production Studio
The new multi-camera editing mode provides a new quad-view monitor for interactive creation of edited sequences. Switch cameras using the number keys on the keyboard, and make adjustments to your edit quickly and easily.

Enhanced color support
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 introduces numerous enhancements to ensure that color in your video productions is as true to life as possible.

Adobe Production Studio
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 provides new color correction tools that are optimized for different tasks, such as luma correction and limiting. For fine adjustments, the three-way color corrector provides precise control over shadows, midtones, and highlights.

10-bit video and 16-bit PSD file support
With native support for 10-bit video files and 16-bit PSD files, you can maintain the integrity of your source material throughout your project.

32-bit internal color processing
With 32-bit internal color processing, maximum image quality is maintained throughout your project. Changes to color, contrast, and exposure-from subtle to dramatic-are precise and smooth, without the visible banding and histogram spikes introduced by lower bit-depth processing.

Professional internal scopes
With both a Waveform monitor and a Vectorscope built in, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 has the technical tools you need for critical luma and color-level management. Luma and chroma levels can now be monitored on every line with 32-bit resolution, and Vectorscope magnification may be toggled between 75% and 100%. You can also display Waveform IRE information in standard, YCbCr Parade, RGB Parade, or combined modes. At any time during previewing your video in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, the viewing mode can easily be toggled between different scope views.

Adobe Production Studio
Use the wide variety of scopes to precisely monitor your content for technical accuracy.

GPU-accelerated rendering
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 lets you tap into the power of the graphics processing unit in today's powerful graphics cards. GPU-enabled systems will also be able to take advantage of accelerated previewing and rendering of motion, opacity, color, and image-distortion effects. If your system supports GPU, you'll have access to five additional transitions that use GPU 3D processing capabilities: Center-Peel, Page Curl, Page Roll, Sphere, and Card Flip.

Advanced subclip creation and editing
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 allows video clips to be split into smaller individual subclips that reference only the designated portion of a master clip. Subclips help keep your project size manageable and your system perfor-mance responsive. They make editing more flexible because you can work with them just as you would any master clip, when trimming, applying effects, renaming, and more.

Superior audio editing in an NLE
The audio capabilities in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0-unequaled by any other video editor-now allow you to apply multiple effects to audio clips or tracks. Adobe Premiere Pro even includes a set of VST-format plug-ins that will get you started on audio enhancement right out of the box.

Enhanced video and audio filters and effects
The Adobe Premiere Pro environment offers a rich array of tools that can restore, and improve video, graphics, and audio. Hundreds of high-quality production and design filters and effects are included, many of which are new or enhanced for Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0.

Lighting Effects filter
The new Lighting Effects filter in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 applies spot, directional, or omni lights right where they're needed. Now you can create special lighting effects for correcting and enhancing footage with less-than-perfect lighting. Multiple layers of lighting effects may be used to vary lighting within a scene, introducing different looks in different locations.

Advanced keyframe controls
In Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, the addition of editable keyframe graphs in the Effect Controls panel gives you the ability to fine-tune effects with precision. The graphs display value and velocity information and allow fine adjustments to effects parameters by simply dragging handles placed at keyframes.

Scrolling timeline
Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 offers a choice of how the timeline is displayed relative to your clips during previews. Set the timeline to Smooth Scroll mode to see it move past a stationary indicator reflecting the current play-back location. Or choose Page Scroll mode to see the timeline advance by one screen each time the playback indicator reaches the edge of the panel. Either way, no matter how detailed a timeline view you choose, the timeline panel always indicates the current location in the sequence.

Animated track-matte workflow
Track-matte clips in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 now support the use of effects and animation, allowing easy creation of traveling mattes. Adobe Premiere Pro automatically disables only the portion of a track that is used in a track-matte, allowing the track's other clips to be processed normally.

Integrated titling tool
The Titler in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 is more tightly integrated than ever before-delivering flexible text, drawing, and editing tools so you can design sophisticated text and graphical titles either from scratch or from professional templates. Titles can now be saved directly into your project file, and as always, can be saved as user-definable styles for reuse in the same or other projects. You'll save time by being able to see your designs in context and refine your ideas without ever leaving Adobe Premiere Pro.

Adobe Clip Notes
Getting fast, to-the-point feedback from clients is a crucial part of successful production, but it can also be a time-consuming chore. Adobe Clip Notes streamlines the process with an elegant solution based on two easy, accessible technologies: email and the Adobe PDF file format. A sequence can be exported as a PDF file with embedded or streamed video in either Windows Media or QuickTime. The file is then sent to the reviewer, who plays it back with Adobe Acrobat® or Adobe Reader software. Whenever the reviewer pauses the video, the current timecode is automatically entered into the comment box. Remarks can be entered at the exact point at which the video is paused. When the file containing these remarks is sent back and imported into the sequence, the comments appear as clip markers at the appropriate timecode locations in the timeline. Straightforward and efficient, Adobe Clip Notes facilitates collaboration, expedites the review and approval process, and takes the pain out of keeping everyone in the loop.

DVD output from the Timeline
New built-in DVD output capabilities make it easy and efficient to take advantage of DVD quality and convenience-not only for final delivery, but also for quick client reviews, test discs, and even digital dailies. Without leaving the application, you can burn menu-based or autoplay full-resolution DVDs directly from a sequence in the timeline, with markers recognized as chapter points. Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 includes top-quality video encoding. Flexible menu-design tools help ensure that your DVD delivered material looks its absolute best.

Export image sequence files
The ability to create numbered image sequences with any frame size up to 4096x4096 pixels makes Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 the ideal tool for editing and preparing sequences for output to 35mm and other film formats. Output for film recording or file sharing is supported in all major image and sequence file formats, including AI, BMP, PSD, TGA, and TIFF.

Output uncompressed HD
Lay off full-resolution uncompressed HD to HD-SDI VTRs and other devices using the Xena HS card from AJA Video. Native support allows you to capture and playback uncompressed 8-bit and 10-bit 4:2:2 SD (720x486) and HD (1920x1080) video at the frame rates 23.98, 50i, and 60i.

Export to standard video format
With Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, you can output to major tape formats including standard and high definition, NTSC and PAL, interlaced and progressive, DV, Digital Betacam*, HDV, HDCAM*, DVCPRO HD*, and D5HD*.

Import and export to AAF and EDL
Exchange project metadata with major video, film, and audio applications via industry-standard Advanced Authoring Format (AAF), AAF with Edit Protocol, and Edit Decision List (EDL) files.

Now that it's done, where can you play it? With Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, the answer is "everywhere." Whether your delivery target is the Web, DVD, tape, film, or digital cinema, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 helps you leverage your editing investment across more playback platforms. This gives you precise, flexible, and complete control of your final output options.
