October was a busy month for lovers of independent films. We want to say "well done" to the founders, staffs and volunteers of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival which celebrated its 10th. We at IN HOLLYWOOD Magazine were proud to be associated with this event. As part of the Awards Ceremony at LALIFF, IN's Publisher, Paul Westfal, presented a Career Achievement Award to the festival's co-founder Marlene Dermer (pictured top right) as Edward James Olmos looks on.
